I have been involved in the lauch of a digital academy in the North East that was set up to help tackle the digital skills gap and unemployment levels in the region. This was critical to addressing the needs of Tees Valley and the wider region ensuring local bussiness would have access to people that could help promote a digital economy.
Many businesses offer full creative services to clients from various markets and operate in many countries globally, offering core services such as website design/development, graphic design and online marketing which includes search engine optimisation, plus a lot more.
It is important to bridge the skils gapincluding digital promotionand graphic design.
I provide digital skills training for those who are unemployed, and looking to gain employment for organisations that have identified a need for improving skills. Digital skills training shows potential employers that people are committed to changes in technology and they have the right skills to provide a valuable service to the customer.
Employers who have employees that require training can access training I provide which typically includes:
- Digital Skills
- Digital Promotions
- Creative Media
However, bespoke training can be developed as required and I can discuss requirements in detail with those interested.
I can work in collaboration with training providers in delivering digital skills courses, employer routeways that includes careers advice and guidance or providing staff training for those already in employment. I am more than happy to discuss working in colloboration with new training providers.
