A qualified teacher (Cert Ed – FE), qualified to level 5 in coaching & mentoring and various managerial experience. Other qualifications & training includes sports psychology with a leading European football clubs education/innovation hub.
My experience includes working in HR, teaching in FE / local community, delivery of e-learning and Widening Participation projects in the community, running my own business, over 9 years working in Welfare to Work in the UK / Middle East in various roles and working with elite athletes in various sports.
I provide a range of management services which are detailed below and I am passionate about supporting people to be successful. I believe that people have the potential / resources to find their own solutions, whether it is taking their first steps into employment, someone returning to work, people already in the workplace looking to progress or an elite athlete looking to be successful in their chosen sport.
Currently based in the North East of England I cover the following areas; Sunderland, Newcastle, Gateshead, South Tyneside, North Tyneside, Durham, Hartlepool, Darlington, Teesside and Northumberland.

Since August 2019 I have been working as a Player Improvement Coach for Billingham Synthonia Football Club where my role has been to help players improve using a psych-social approach. This has mainly been through workshops and 1:1 coaching sessions with academy players including those stepping up.
Other players I work with include those at professional football clubs in the UK and also players from the UK that are playing in various countries in Europe.

Personal Life
I take a keen interest in most sports, and have enjoyed playing football, golf and cricket. In recent years I have been involved in the running scene, which influenced my decision to develop my passion for coaching. I enjoy the competitive side of sports but I also see the links to health & well-being, and always busy working in collaboration with others, in encouraging people (young & old) to take part in regular exercise.
Another important part of my life is helping to support social change for the good of the local community. I enjoy attending a Leaders Network for Social Change where this enables me to get involved in various activities that help support the local community.
