A vocational training course or other training can support people to improve their knowledge, skills & experience specific to the workplace. I have experience of delivering a variety of subjects / levels, including accredited and non-accredited courses.
Training for success
Training & Development can be very successful if delivered right. This means being clear about what the results are, and what is considered to be achievement. The end assessment will determine whether the results have been achieved but the real benefits of an employee should be seen as a progression. My preference it to see the development of people in the workplace through linking workplace activites to the training they have received.
Staff development refers to programmes of training or continuing education to employees, helping them with their own professional growth. Organisations that support staff development will benefit from having employees with greater skills and deeper expertise.
